Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory launches Canada’s Waterscapes exhibit

Cambridge, ON – Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory to host Museum of Nature’s Travelling Canada’s Waterscapes Exhibit this summer.

Canada's Waterscapes: Yours to Enjoy, Explore and Protect has opened at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory.

Canada’s Waterscapes gives viewers a chance to dive in and discover five of Canada’s aquatic ecosystems, including oceans, lakes, rivers, wetlands and estuaries. Audio features, video displays and life-size dioramas make this a highly interactive and family friendly exhibit. Visitors can conduct their own symphony of frog calls, discover the nesting grounds of the endangered Whooping Crane, and marvel at the intricacy of the baleen from a Minke Whale. 

“We are delighted to host this engaging and informative exhibit at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory this summer.” says Adrienne Brewster, Executive Director. “Visitors of all ages will have fun exploring their aquatic side.”

Canada’s Waterscapes is the newest travelling exhibition from the Canadian Museum of Nature,  sponsored in part by Parks Canada, The Canadian Water Network,  RBC’s Blue Water Project and the National Science and Engineering Research Council.  

Canada’s Waterscapes is on exhibit until September 4^th at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, 2500 Kossuth Road Cambridge, ON.

Admission: Adult $10.95, Senior & Youth $9.75, Child $5.75, Children under 2 free
