Jakeman’s first annual Family Fun Day & BBQ
Woodstock, ON – On June 23, from 11 am to 3pm, Jakeman’s Maple Farm is celebrating its First Annual Family Fun Day and BBQ at Jakeman’s Maple Farm.
“We are very excited to be hosting this event in support of the Canadian Red Cross. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds for a great cause and offer a fun event around it!” says Organizer, Stacey Swartz.
“We have four vendors that are coming out to this event, along with a bouncy castle, live entertainment and face painting. It’s the first of what we hope is one of many Family Fun Days hosted here at Jakeman’s.”
Everyone knows that Jakeman’s Maple Farm is know for its prize winning maple syrup and is located just east of Sweaburg, south of Woodstock. This is a fantastic location for this FUN raising event and BBQ.
There will be lots of room for a day in the country with play as the main theme. Peony Blossoms, one of the vendors will be there with special hair accessories, Two Pears in a Pod with tutu’s, bags, and more, along with Milestone Photography and of course the Canadian Red Cross. There will be some raffles of maple products and other activities.
All proceeds from the BBQ will be going to the Canadian Red Cross First Aid Department. They will be using the money raised to help send children to their summer camp!
Directions: Take exit #230 off of Hwy 401, travelling south from Woodstock, continue driving through Sweaburg and make a right onto Trillium Line. Jakeman’s will be on your right.
