This classic rock band created one of the most iconic movie themes of all time,
“Eye of the Tiger” (Rocky III). They are also known for hits: “High on You”,
“The Search Is Over” & “Burning Heart” (Rocky IV).

Survivor was formed in the cold Chicago winter of 1977 by Frankie Sullivan and
Jim Peterik. By the end of 1978, Survivor was signed to a record deal with
Scotti Bros. Records. Under patronage of John Kalodner, then head of A&R for
Atlantic Records, Survivor went into the studio to cut their first self-titled
album. This record, released in 1980 with the single “Somewhere in America,”
did moderately well and started to build a loyal base of fans.

After touring for 8 months, the band went back into the studio. The result of
those sessions, ”Premonition”, is considered by many fans to be their favorite
Survivor record. The album was released in 1981 with the singles, “Poor Man’s
Son” and “Summer Nights”. This record improved on the first album’s success,
although still not the big breakout the band was looking for – that was to come
with the 1982 release of “Eye of The Tiger”. The title song for this record was
expressly written for Rocky III, which brought the band national attention.
“Eye of The Tiger” spent seven weeks at the #1 spot on the U.S. charts. The
song won a Grammy, an Oscar nomination and was voted ‘Best New Song” by the
Peoples Choice Awards. Immediately following the record, the band toured
extensively performing in sheds and stadiums. (for more Survivor

Kix Brooks<http://www.kixbrooks.com/>
Saturday, July 28
SHOWTIME: 9 PM, DOORS OPEN: 8 PM
Tickets are $25/$35

Singer, songwriter, radio host and one half of the popular country duo Brooks &
Dunn, his vocal hits include: “New to this Town”, “You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m
Gone” & “Rock My World (Little Country Girl)”.

Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Kix Brooks was influenced by a variety
of regional musical styles ranging from Cajun to blues to jazz to country.
Brooks began performing at age 12, then continued performing in clubs and at
other venues throughout high school. He also began writing songs at that time.
Eventually he landed in Nashville, where he joined Tree Publishing Company.
Shortly thereafter, artists like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Conlee and
Highway 101 all scored #1¹s with Brooks¹ songs.

In 1990 Brooks teamed with Ronnie Dunn to form Brooks & Dunn, who are the
highest selling duo in the history of country music. They have sold more than 30
million records, won more than 75 major industry awards, had 23 #1 hits, and
just set a new record with their 41st top 10 single, breaking a tie with Alabama
as the duo or group with the most Top 10 country singles in the 19-year history
of Nielsen BDS-monitored airplay.

Never one to let the grass grow under his feet, Brooks ventured into the world
of radio in 2006 when he took over the hosting reins of the long-running
syndicated radio program, American Country Countdown. Having recently notched
his third year in that chair, Brooks reflected on his reason for joining ACC as
host, ³I really enjoy what I do for a living. I love this business. I love the
characters and personalities in this business. At the end of the day, it¹s all
about sharing those stories.² The broadcast industry took note, and in 2009,
honored him with the National Broadcasting Personality of the Year award, making
Brooks the first person to ever win a CMA in both the artist and broadcast
categories.

Brooks served as President, in 2004, and Chairman, in 2005, of the Country Music
Association (CMA). He remains an active board member of the CMA and served as
part of the Blue Ribbon Committee. The Blue Ribbon Committee was a select group
of professionals including the mayor, chosen to bring the city of Nashville and
the Music Industry closer together. Brooks is also on the boards of Vanderbilt
Children's Hospital and Avenue Bank, and previously served on the Nashville
Convention and Visitors Bureau. He is the local spokesperson for Monroe Harding
Children¹s Home and is a founding partner of Arrington Vineyards in Arrington,
TN.

   Friday, August 10

SHOWTIME: 9 PM, DOORS OPEN: 8 PM

Tickets are $65/$75

The iconic "Queen of Country" returns to perform from a selection of her 35 #1
songs! Best known for her recent hits "Turn on the Radio" and "Consider Me Gone"
and her signature tune, "Fancy."

One might expect an entertainment and business mogul to take a break – or at the
very least a quick breather – after a career that has produced over 56 million
in worldwide album sales; 64 Top 10 hits; the #1 TV sitcom for 6 consecutive
years on TWO networks; successful Clothing, Footwear and Home collections; as
well as a stint on Broadway that garnered a Drama Critics Award. As if that
wasn’t enough, Reba is also the recipient of 15 American Music Awards, 13, ACM
Awards, 9 People’s Choice Awards, 7 Country Music Association Awards, 2 GRAMMYS
and is on of only four entertainers in history to be honoured with a National
Artistic Achievement Award by U.S. Congress.

For some, such success may be sufficient reason to rest, if not for the sense of
accomplishment, then for the pure exhaustion factor. Don’t ever expect that
from Reba. In a career that has evolved from its musical roots into a
multimedia business empire, Reba tackles her The Valory Music Co. album, ALL THE
WOMEN I AM, with all the intensity, fire and spunk that you would expect from a
redhead -- making it clear that slowing down is nowhere near Reba’s current
agenda. This fall she will also return to television with the ABC sitcom, Malibu
Country. (more Reba bio information)<http://www.reba.com>
