years since a person put their balance and courage to the test and traversed
the mighty Niagara Falls on a tightrope

was a fairly common occurrence throughout the 19th century to find a
daredevil pin-stepping across a wire strung over the gorge, an act made famous
by The Great Blondin in 1859 and replicated by several others until James Hardy
made the last crossing in July 1896. When Nik Wallenda revives this rich piece
of Niagara’s stunting heritage on June 15th, it will be the
spectacle of a century.

Mr.
Wallenda’s wire walk is expected to draw a massive crowd of 120,000 people to
see it live, with an audience of millions expected to follow along on
television. The challenge for many will be securing the opportunity to be part
of the crowd that sees Mr. Wallenda’s performance live. Falls Avenue Resort Hotels are giving guests

The Daredevil
Package will ensure you have the best seats available for the walk. The $795
per couple package includes a city room accommodation for two at the Sheraton on the Falls, exclusive premium
front-row viewing of the historic Nik Wallenda Walk from the Horseshoe Landing
Patio at the Table Rock Centre, including cocktails and reception buffet, and a
commemorative gift.
The Horseshoe
Landing Patio will offer the best live view of Niagara Falls and is the planned
location of Mr. Wallenda’s wire and end of the 550m walk.
