For Immediate Release
A FREE event, perfect for the whole family.
Go behind the scenes at the international blockbuster WAR HORSE. Find out how this
spectacular and ingenious show was developed -- from original concept, through
workshops, to first performances, and then to productions around the world.
Associate Puppetry Director, Tommy Luther has been with WAR
HORSE from the very beginning in 2006. He has been there when the
show was just an idea, and he originated the role of Joey "heart" (one
of three parts of the title horse in the show).
You'll meet Joey and Topthorn. You'll get inside information about how these majestic
puppets work. You'll find out how the various scenic elements come
together to create the magic that is WAR
HORSE.
As a bonus, one lucky audience member will have the
opportunity to ride Joey on the stage of the Princess of Wales Theatre.
*Details of riding Joey will be supplied to those who book
tickets to the event.
Bring your cameras, because for this special event only,
photography and video recording will be allowed in the Princess of Wales
Theatre for the first time ever.
Admission is FREE, but you must order your tickets online or
by phone. Seating is general admittance so arrive early.
