Victorian Teddy Bear Picnic at Fanshawe Pioneer Village

June 26th, 2012, London, Ontario - Get out into the sunshine!

On Sunday, July 8th, all the bears are gathering for a Victorian Teddy Bear Picnic at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. Bring out your favourite stuffed friend for an afternoon of games, storytelling, a parade, and afternoon tea.

Children and teddies alike will enjoy many activities throughout the Historic Village; Storytelling, a parade with “Bearemy” the mascot of Build a Bear at 1:00 p.m., followed by afternoon tea.
This event is presented in partnership with Build A Bear Workshops Inc.

It's the ultimate summer adventure - travel back in time! Fanshawe Pioneer Village offers a new summer day camp experience for children 6 - 12 who will become part of Village life. Campers will engage in farm and household chores, become apprentices in our Print, Woodworking and Blacksmith shops, play 19th century games, create Victorian crafts and celebrate the end of their week with a proper 19th century social.

Johnny O’Connor was the boy who hid under the bed during the Donnelly murders of 1880. Now he’s back, all grown up, packing a guitar and ready to set the record straight.
Performance at 7:30 p.m.
