The show’s focus is to present exhibitors who are specialists in smart cottage designs, building and renovating, plus innovative building products and decor for cottages and country homes, he said.

   Are we there yet?
“Whether you are on a lake or in the hills, the show is geared towards anyone who owns or dreams of owning a cottage, chalet, country home, hobby farm or rural retreat,” said publicist Peggy Sheffield.

Play ball at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum in St. Marys, Ont.

It’s a great time to be both a fan of baseball and a member of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum!

ST MARYS, Ontario -- As the playoffs are well underway, we wish the best of luck to Russell Martin, the lone Canadian player left vying for the World Series championship.  As well, the candidate list for the 2012 Tip O’Neill Award is strong when you look at the tremendous seasons had by many Canadians including Joey Votto, Ryan Dempster and Scott Diamond.

Furthermore, at the time of writing, Team Canada is now ranked 5th world-wide after qualifying for the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

These good-news stories give us hope at the end of a year that saw the passing of inductee and Montreal Expo legend Gary Carter.  The purpose of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame has never been more evident than it is now as we remember his contributions to the growth and development of baseball.  His legacy will remain in our museum forever, thanks to our many supporters.
