Four Points London (Ontario) debuts conference centre expansion

(News Release)

SPECTACULAR THREE STOREY LOBBY AND NEW RESTAURANT

LONDON, Ont. -- The Four Points London in southwestern Ontario has completed a dramatic and elegant renovation of its lobby and public space, while expanding its convention centre footprint to be more appealing to a wider variety of corporate and social events.

At the heart of the refurbishment  - a dramatic new lobby and registration area plus 4,000 sq. ft. of additional premium meeting space.  An impressive three-storey lobby ceiling lets in lots of natural light.  A second floor mezzanine surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows features a wide balcony that overlooks the lobby foyer.

With elegant architectural style and functionality, a large curved glass staircase leads up from the lobby to the 2nd floor mezzanine and the new Balmoral Ballroom on the 2nd floor has been added, offering meeting planner and social event flexibility.

With meticulous craftsmanship, the lobby area features a stone wall with fireplace and flat screen TV.  A business area with harvest table, upholstered chairs and bookshelves invites guests to gather and reconnect.   The curved front desk with attractive walnut finish and chrome trim welcomes arriving guests with new efficiency and personalized attention.   The new Balmoral Ballroom features beautifully draped floor to ceiling window treatment and its brown and black appointed textiles offer an elegant backdrop for themed events.

“Now, more than ever, we look forward to welcoming meeting delegates and special event attendees,” said Victor Hayter, President of Sylvanacre Properties, owner of the Four Points by Sheraton.  “We consulted with the best in design and with feedback from our guests and customers we’re delighted with the finished results.”

Karim Abouali, General Manager at the Four Points London added, “Whether this is a first time visit, or a repeat stay, our guests will benefit from the thoughtful enhancements. Of course, we’ll also be wowing them with our personalized Four Points service, delicious menu offerings in our new restaurant, Vic’s on Wellington and ensuring the meeting and event planners have everything they need to excel.”
