fascinating snakes in our indoor
tropical pavilions and learn more about these amazing creatures!
Er Shun and Da Mao our giant panda mascots will be
on site to help celebrate the Year of the Snake.
Look for the giant
panda mascots at the Front Entrance Courtyard stage where you can get
your
photo taken with them and start the new year off right!
The live Er Shun and Da Mao arrive Spring 2013!
Snakes need love too! Bring a valentine for your favourite snake and
kids (aged 4-12) receive FREE admission*!
*Discount applies to day of admission, one discount per Valentine.
Adult Programs - So You Think You Can Romance?
Thursday, February 14 & Friday, February 15
6:30 pm to 8:30 pm - Zoo Atrium (Ticketed/indoor event)
Join us for a delicious evening of food and fun as
we learn the fine art of romance as observed in
the animal kingdom. The
program includes a special animal visitor, an interactive presentation,
a
meet and greet with our Reproductive Program Staff and Laboratory tour
as well as a romantically
inspired dinner experience.
COST (per adult): $65 Zoo Member, $120 Zoo Members Couple

Celebrate Family Day Weekend by visiting with some
of the Zoo's featured families such as the Western lowland gorillas,
orangutans, Komodo dragons and hairy-nosed wombats, to name a few.

Herds, Packs and Flocks..It's how we say Family!
Families
always look out for each other. Babies and Moms, Dads
and even
Grandparents make up animal families in the wild. Come
and find out how
they share and play, stay safe and grow in their
wild world. Parents
will take part in this interactive learning
experience helping their
youngster discover how animal families survive in the wild. Program will
consist of educational playtime, craft(s), activities, songs/poems and a
short animal encounter.
One
child to one adult ratio is ideal; however, each adult may
bring up to
two children of program age from the same family
for the cost listed
below. Additional adults are welcome to
attend; general admission
applies at the front gate.
Only those pre-registered for the program may attend.
COST: $18 Zoo Member, $20 Non-Member
(Cost includes one adult and up to two children from the same
family)
