Huronia Historical Parks is pleased to announce a new operating partner for the beautiful Captain Roberts’ Table waterside restaurant at Discovery Harbour.

Nick Boudouris of OPA Catering Group was the successful proponent in a recent Request for Proposal as initiated via MERX, the electronic tendering system used by the Province of Ontario.

Boudouris is a well-known restaurateur in the local area, as the proprietor of the World Famous Dock Lunch at the Penetanguishene town dock, as well as being the current operating partner of Restaurant Sainte-Marie.
Discovery Harbour recently completed renovations to the restaurant, including naval-themed artwork and many interior and exterior improvements.  The adjacent patio offers superb views of Penetanguishene Bay and Discovery Harbour’s majestic historic ships H.M.S. Tecumseth and H.M.S. Bee.

Jan Gray, General Manager of Huronia Historical Parks, is pleased to have OPA Catering Group aboard.  “We look forward to working with Nick and his staff team at Captain Roberts’ Table, offering visitors to Discovery Harbour a quality dining experience in a beautiful and historic location that is unique in Ontario”, she noted.

Boudouris shares her enthusiasm.  “With an all-new, fresh menu, new chefs, and a number of events and motorcoach tours already booked, we anticipate a very busy season in this picturesque facility”, he said.
