DAY 1: Saturday, March 14th
Gromination Slopestyle
|
Gromination Slopestyle runs from 9-4pm at Badlands Terrain Park.
Gromination
is a Canadian Freestyle competition, now in its 3rd year it is high
energy, no pressure, youth focused event. Catering to the little ones of
Freestyle Ski and Snowboard this event offers a great experience for
the next generation of little rippers. With 3 categories 14 years old

DAY 2: Sunday, March 15th
Win the Golden Ticket!
|
Lifted
Golden Ticket returns to the slopes from 9am-3pm. Ages 16 & under
both ski and snowboard are invited to show off their skills to the
Salomon Pros for their chance to get hooked up next season with a full
outerwear, hard-good, shop sponsorship and Super Pass from Blue Mountain
Resort. 5 Skiers and 5 Snowboarders will be chosen to compete in the
final for the 'Golden Ticket'. Registration>>
In the Village Events Plaza check out interactive drumming at 1pm and family groove dancing at 2pm.

DAY 3: Monday, March 16th
Magic Show
|
Tickets
are on sale now at Activity Central or by calling 705-443-5522. The
show runs 4pm-5:30pm in the new Village Conference Centre.

DAY 4: Tuesday, March 17th
Happy St. Patrick's Day
|
Interactive drumming at 1pm, facepainting from 1pm-4pm, family groove dancing at 2pm and live on stage at 3pm Strange Potatoes!
St. Paddy's fun will also be celebrated throughout the many bars & restaurants day & night!

DAY 5: Wednesday, March 18th
Fred Penner Concert
|
7pm concert with Juno Award winning family entertainer Fred Penner. Tickets on sale now at Activity Central or by calling 705-443-5522.
The concert will be held inside the new Village Conference Centre.

DAY 5: SNOWCROWN STARTS
|
The
2015, Sony Snow Crown Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding Championships
combines a 4-day celebration of action sport competition, culture, and
camaraderie. Fans, sponsors and media will enjoy access to returning
Canadian freestyle ski and snowboarding athletes. Visit snowcrown.ca

DAY 6: Thursday, March 19th
Keep Winter Cool
|
Join
us in the Village Events Plaza from 11am-4pm to learn more about this
amazing program and see what ski resorts are doing to ensure our winters
remain cool.
Keep
Winter Cool is a partnership between NRDC (Natural Resources Defense
Council) and the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) to raise
visibility and public understanding of global warming and spotlight
opportunities that exist right now to start fixing the problem. Did you
know American ski racer Picabo Street is a spokesperson for Keep Winter
Cool? Now that's cool.

DAY 7: Friday, March 20th
Snowcrown Halfpipe FINALS
|
Even if you don't snowboard or hang in the terrain park the talent on Blue's slopes is worth checking out.
Snowcrown Pro Halfpipe Finals run from 7pm-9:30pm. The amateur semi-finals run from 9am-5pm.

DAY 8: Saturday, March 21st
Snowcrown Finals
|
Snowcrown
continues from 9-4pm at the Badlands Terrain Park. from 9am-12pm the
Qualifiers will run down Smart Alec and from 1pm-4pm the Finals Big Air
run down Smart Alec.
All
of this can be combined with more interactive drumming from 12-1pm,
family groove dancing at 2pm and finally the Snowcrown Awards on the
Village stage at 5pm.

DAY 9: START PLANNING SUMMER!
|
If
you liked this 9-day schedule imagine an entire summer of this...trade
snow for hiking, zip-lines, segway, ropes courses, yoga on the docks and
another full summer of live entertainment!
