Don’t Miss the No. 1 Event of the Season presented by Citizens Bank

Dearborn, Mich. – See why Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village presented by Citizens Bank continues to be voted a can’t-miss family-friendly event each year. Tickets are going fast for this authentic and immersive holiday celebration that continues on Dec. 9-11, 16-18, 20-23 and 26-30 from 6:30 p.m to 10 p.m.

“There is no better way to celebrate the holiday season than with the sights, sounds and sensations of Greenfield Village,” said Rick Hampson, state president of Citizens Bank, Michigan. “We are proud to be a part of this celebration and continue our partnership with The Henry Ford as presenting sponsor of the 2016 Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village.”

This unique holiday experience immerses visitors in 300 years of holiday history. Inside the historic homes, visitors will be welcomed by the smell of evergreen-filled parlors and freshly baked-holiday treats as presenters bring to life traditional menu staples.

At Giddings Home, the rich aroma of chocolate will greet guests as they watch presenters preparing hot cocoa 1700s-style. If the smells and sights inside the homes work up an appetite, food stations throughout the streets will be available with hot chocolate, hot apple cider, roasted chestnuts and a roast beef carving station.

The sounds of the season will echo through the air as a variety of live performances take place around every corner including music by the Dodworth Saxhorn Band, ‘Michigan’s Troubadour’ Neil Woodward and dozens of carolers.

Visitors can grab a pair of loaner skates or lace up their own and take a turn or two on the Village’s ice skating rink. After visiting Santa and his reindeer at Robert Frost home, visitors can climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage or take a ride around in one of our Model T’s.

At the end of the evening, all are invited to join the musicians and singers at Town Hall for the lantern procession and fireworks finale accompanied by a sing-along of favorite holiday carols.

Ticket prices for Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village are $20.00 for adult members and $16.50 for youth members, $23.50 for adult non-members and $19.50 for youth non-members.
