Montreal is a city that not only breathes and lives hockey but that also played a central role in the development of this sport.
The first game of regulated, codified and publicized hockey was held on March 3, 1875 at the Victoria Skating Rink, which was right behind where the Centre Sheraton Montreal stands right now.
It was also the location of the first Stanley Cup playoffs.Today we are located only a two-minute walk from the famous Bell Centre.
