Thanksgiving at Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London, Ontario

The final weekend of Fanshawe Pioneer Village is full of events to celebrate
the harvest.
 
On Saturday, October 6, Sunday, October, and Monday, October 8, join us for
Fall on the Farm. 
 
Watch demonstrations of historic cooking, weaving, blacksmithing, and
woodworking. Explore displays of agricultural equipment, bee keeping  
and rare apple varieties. Kids can enjoy games, crafts, printing in the
Print Shop and wagon rides.  A perfect weekend to celebrate a  
historic thanksgiving!

Upcoming Yuletide Events at Fanshawe Pioneer Village

A Visit with St. Nicholas - Saturday and Sunday, December 1 – 2, 8 – 9  
and 15 – 16

Families are invited to a Visit with St. Nicholas.  Enjoy a hot  
pancake breakfast, followed by a baked gingerbread man to decorate for  
dessert.   Hop aboard a horse drawn wagon for a beautiful winter ride  
around the Village and visit a selection of buildings preparing for  
Christmas.  Of course the day wouldn’t be complete without the visit  
from St. Nicholas himself, who is happy to see each child.

Saturday sittings available at 9:30, 11:00, and 1:00 p.m.
Sunday sittings available at 9:30, 11:00, 12:30 & 2:00 p.m.

Victorian Village Christmas - Saturday and Sunday, December 15 – 16

Celebrate a Victorian Christmas! Visit with St. Nicholas, play  
Victorian parlour games and make a traditional tree ornament. Hop  
aboard a horse drawn wagon for a beautiful winter ride around the  
Village and visit a selection of buildings preparing for Christmas.

The Cricket on the Hearth.  A Play by Jason Rip.  Directed by Jeff Culbert
Spend an evening in Victorian London!  Enjoy a traditional 19th  
century Christmas dinner served country style followed by an  
outstanding performance of The Cricket on the Hearth, based on the  
short story by Charles Dickens.

Tickets $50.00 plus HST each.  Maximum of 50 tickets per performance.
