The new Sesame Street stage production is
inspired by the iconic kids’ TV show.
It’s at Hamilton’s FirstOntario Concert
Hall, Feb. 22; Kitchener’s Centre in the Square, Feb. 23; Mississauga’s
Hershey Centre, Feb. 24 and 25; and Windsor’s WFCU Centre, Feb. 26.
The inaugural production
under Feld’s new partnership with the non-profit Sesame Workshop, features pals
Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and more.
It’s called a “sensory
adventure live on stage,” with dancing to a “pop-infused soundtrack” with new
Sesame Street friends and hosts Casey and Caleb.
They’ll try to plan
a party with everyone having a different idea of fun and needing help from the
audience.
Party guests sing
along to songs including “I Love Trash” and “C is for Cookie,” with Oscar the
Grouch and Cookie Monster.
Elmo rocks the party in Sesame Street Live. |
They’ll dance to
the beat with Elmo; explore a wintry wonderland when Abby’s magic goes awry;
take flight with Big Bird; and discover new cultures in an interactive Spanish
lesson with Rosita.
