Children can hang out with Mickey and Minnie as well as Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Oscar the Grouch and Grover as some big shows visit the area.
Just in time for the holidays, Disney On Ice returns with a new Toronto show called Reach for the Stars.

Things kick off as Mickey and Minnie Mouse and friends come together at the Rogers Centre Dec. 22 to Jan. 1 for 17 performances.
Another Disney ice show, Dream Big, is at Budweiser Gardens in London from Feb. 28 to March 4, while Dare to Dream is at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, March 15 to 18.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck and Goofy highlight the Toronto show with its “star-studded talent extravaganza,” said publicist Beth Merrick.

That’s when Disney Frozen’s royal sisters Anna and Elsa and the hilarious snowman, Olaf, sing captivating songs such as “Let it Go” and “In Summer.”
Sebastian strikes up his hot crustacean band and the Daughters of Triton make a splash as they introduce Ariel in a 1980’s pop montage.
Get tangled up with a chorus of silly hooligans when they get a visit from Rapunzel and her charming ally, Flynn Rider, on a journey to see the floating lights.
Relive a “Tale as Old as Time” when Belle opens her heart to new adventures and the Beast’s enchanted objects take centre stage for a dazzling skating spectacle called “Be Our Guest.”

Hamilton’s show has Moana in her ice debut leaving on an action-packed voyage with mighty demigod Maui in a quest to save her island.
There’s also Elsa, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, the Beast and Cinderella hosted by Mickey and Minnie.

   Let’s party!
The new Sesame Street stage production is inspired by the iconic kids’ TV show.

It’s at Hamilton’s FirstOntario Concert Hall, Feb. 22; Kitchener’s Centre in the Square, Feb. 23; Mississauga’s Hershey Centre, Feb. 24 and 25; and Windsor’s WFCU Centre, Feb. 26.
The inaugural production under Feld’s new partnership with the non-profit Sesame Workshop, features pals Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and more.
It’s called a “sensory adventure live on stage,” with dancing to a “pop-infused soundtrack” with new Sesame Street friends and hosts Casey and Caleb.
They’ll try to plan a party with everyone having a different idea of fun and needing help from the audience.
Party guests sing along to songs including “I Love Trash” and “C is for Cookie,” with Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster.
Elmo rocks the party in Sesame Street Live.
They’ll dance to the beat with Elmo; explore a wintry wonderland when Abby’s magic goes awry; take flight with Big Bird; and discover new cultures in an interactive Spanish lesson with Rosita.
A pre-show experience is also being offered at an additional charge prior to select performances. Tickets start at $15. SesameStreetLive.com
