The Marvel superheroes plan to invade a venue near you for an epic battle against evil.

Some 25 Marvel comic icons including Spider-Man, Captain America and the Avengers (Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk and more) will jump from the comic book pages to do battle with threatening villains that come to life.

Marvel Universe Live! is an action-packed, high-tech battle between good and evil that’s been touring 85 cities in the U.S. and Canada.
Spider-Man joins the fray with Marvel comic icons in the performance.

They’ll be duking it out this weekend in Ottawa and then in Hamilton, Toronto and Montreal throughout this month.

“It’s being hailed as the most technically advanced live show ever – a once-in-a-lifetime, monumental performance,” said publicist Beth Merrick.

“Fans will definitely feel the energy with cutting-edge special effects, pyrotechnics, aerial stunts, martial arts, motorcycles and more,” she added.

The “mind-blowing” show unlike anything area fans have seen before has the Marvel icons together on one epic quest.

Cosmic Cube, the source of ultimate power and one of the most feared and coveted treasures in the Marvel Universe, has been shattered into pieces by the Mighty Thor in order to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
Plenty of villains come to do battle at the Marvel superheroes’ show.

With the pieces scattered across the globe, Thor’s villainous brother Loki devises a scheme to clone its powers, inciting a threat that could not only decimate earth but also obliterate the universe.

To defeat Loki, Marvel’s biggest superheroes must band together, including the Avengers – Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and Thor along with Spider-Man and Wolverine.
The Mighty Thor has shattered the Cosmic Cube so it won’t fall into the wrong hands.

They must trek across the globe to retrieve the Cosmic Cube fragments and unite them.

As the superheroes track the Cube, they encounter some of their biggest adversaries including Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Red Skull, Madame Hydra, Aldrich Killian, Electro and more, in the quest for the same fragments.

These foes have no problem teaming up if it gets them closer to their ultimate goal of world domination.

Show manager Randy Foster said translating those superpowers from comic book pages and movie screens took the production company, Feld Entertainment, two years to research and develop while creating cutting-edge special effects such as 3-D projection mapping technology.

The mapping turns objects into display surfaces and gives the show the ability to transport the audience to prominent locations within the Marvel Universe including the Avengers’ tower, AIM lab, Hydra Island and Loki’s Fortress.

Marvel Universe Live! features a two-hour scenic movie that plays along in the background of the live performance that is packed with pyrotechnics, lasers, car crashes, fight scenes and stunts.

“Fans will feel like they’ve stepped into a Marvel blockbuster film come to life with non-stop movie style action and stunts,” said producer Juliette Feld.

Audiences will see the world of superheroes come to life before their eyes in a “unique experience that puts audiences right in the middle of the action,” she added.

The show is produced by Feld Entertainment that also stages Disney on Ice, Disney Live!, Monster Jam and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
