Woodstock,
ON – Drumbo Fair has something uniquely special for visitors of all
ages. On Sunday (Sept. 21) – food lovers can taste “Local Fare at the
Fair”.
This day long popular event features products produced,
baked and preserved right here in Oxford County as well as neighbouring
townships. Bright Cheese & Butter Mfg Co. Ltd.; Brownsmere Farm –
apples; Kingsburgh Apiaries – honey; The Lavender Farm – lavender
products; Maple Tap Farm – maple syrup; Prince Greenhouses – “farm
produce using organic practices”.
Products will be available for
sampling and sale. Come and learn where your food comes from! Oxford
Tourism will be there promoting “Oxfordlicious” – a Farm to Table
Celebration.
“We are pleased to have the “GayLea’s Travelling
Dairy Museum” on the grounds for the weekend”, says Eileen Hartig,
Drumbo Agricultural Society President.
Also new this year – “Two
Fairly Fat Guys” - Norfolk County’s Food Ambassadors will be making a
humorous presentation on Sunday afternoon.
It’s not all about food – there are horse, beef, 4H rabbit & poultry shows; exhibits; tribute artists – John
&
June Cash, George Jones, John Denver; the Mighty Machines of
Blandford-Blenheim; Children’s Village; Old McDonald’s Farm; a car show;
Drumbo Heritage Society train rides and so much more.
This year all attractions are included in the admission price.

From Toronto/Kitchener: Traveling west on the 401, take exit 250 for
Drumbo/Innerkip and turn left onto Oxford Road 29. Turn right on Centre
St. to reach the Fairgrounds. From London: Traveling east on the 401,
take exit 250 for Drumbo/Innerkip and turn right onto Oxford Road 29.
Turn right on Centre St. to reach the Fairgrounds.
