Continuing
to ride the wave of success, “Eat & Drink Norfolk” was recently
named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals & Events for the fourth
year in a row.
“We
are very proud to receive this provincial designation from Festivals
& Events Ontario. The success of the event is a reflection of the
high level of quality of the participating local restaurants, wineries,
breweries and food producers as well the community that continues to
support us year after year. The dedication of our vendors, staff,
volunteers and sponsor partners has resulted in an outstanding event
that continues to grow in popularity!” says Special Events Manager
Chantal Zorad.
“Eat
& Drink Norfolk” provides an opportunity to come out to a relaxed
atmosphere in the AUD at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds, to mix and
mingle while sampling local products from over 30 participating vendors.
Many well-known local restaurants, wineries, breweries and food
producers are back again along with some new vendors who are
participating for the first time.
Now
in its ninth year, “Eat & Drink Norfolk” has become the premier
spring event in Norfolk County. “It is a wonderful way for people to
sample new local wines, beer and cider from our local wineries and craft
breweries as well as food from a local restaurant or food producer that
they perhaps haven’t taken the opportunity to visit yet. They can talk
directly to the owners, chefs, winemaker or brewmaster to learn more
about what makes each business unique.” states Zorad.
Live
musical entertainment will feature Felicia McMinn and Benjamin Dakota
Rogers on Thursday evening, while Felicia McMinn and With the Dudes
perform Friday evening. Saturday will feature an all-day musical line up
with Evan Champagne, Felicia McMinn and Grey Sky taking the stage.
A
photo booth will be available during select hours. Those attending will
