The Festival will again be entirely free to the public. The Festival offers food demonstrations by international chefs, dance workshops, two food competitions and a Pan American vendors market, with live music performances. This large outdoor festival offers visitors many opportunities to discover the delicious and diverse cuisine of the Americas.
The Festival’s Culinary Curator, Mary Luz Mejía, has put together a remarkable line-up of culinary talent bringing the best of Pan American flavour to Toronto, featuring all-women chefs, a first for any Canadian food festival. This program, titled Women in Food, will celebrate the creative power of women in Canada’s kitchens, featuring 24 all female Canadian, Latin, Caribbean and Brazilian chefs, cooks and caterers participating in the festival.
