Paris Fair announces 2013 entertainment line-up that includes Montgomery Gentry

2013 Paris Fair August 29 through September 2

May 21, 2013 – Paris, ON – The Paris Agricultural Society is very pleased and extremely excited to announce the main entertainment line-up for the 2013 Paris Fair taking place August 29^th  through and including September 2^nd.

Through the tireless efforts of the Paris Fair Program Committee, the following world class entertainers and shows will headline the 2012 Paris Fair:

Thursday August 29^th, the 155^th Paris Fair will open the fair at the main grandstand entertainment bowl with a ‘MONSTER TRUCK EXTRAVAGANZA”.  That’s right, the fair opens with a FULL SCALE monster truck show. 

Also on Friday evening, in the Exhibition Centre a true ‘world class’ – ‘world renowned’ show will take the stage for a packed house as ‘The Bee Gee’s and Frankie Vallie’ perform their award winning tribute show.   The maximum capacity for this show is 500 so fans will want to get here early and get their seats!

Saturday August 31^st, Thrillshow Productions will present Canada’s #1 Demolition Derby at the main grandstand event bowl where the areas best crashers and smashers will compete for the coveted Paris Fair Derby Saturday title.  Always a great show providing thrills of plenty!

Sunday September 1^st international country music Super Duo MONTGOMERY GENTRY headlines the entertainment at the main stage in the event bowl of the main grandstand.  With fourteen Top 10 singles, including “Where I Come From,” “My Town.

and “Roll With Me,” this multi CMA and AMA Multi-Award winning and Grad Ole Opry Inductee Duo is sure to rock the stage.   

Monday September 2^nd Thrillshow Productions closes the 15^5th Paris Fair with the ‘Paris fair Feature Heat Demolition Derby Championship’, where top derby teams get one last chance to be crowned top driver at one of Ontario’s best derbies.

Appearing Friday through Monday 4 times daily will be three different shows from children’s entertainer extraordinaire ‘FREDDY FUSION’ with his wild, crazy and just plain fun antics, the little ones will be kept smiling for sure!

Also Friday through Monday with multiple shows daily will be ‘WILD WORLD EXPERIENCE!’ is back with all new exotic animals! Fair goers will walk into the show and immediately be transported to an exotic land, or a deep Canadian majestic forest where they will come face to face with the wild animals, birds and reptiles that call those places home.  A $60, 000 production, this spectacle will be bigger and better than last year and will keep animal lovers and wilderness enthusiasts coming back each day to see the ‘marquee headline animal’.  This truly will be a WILD WORLD EXPERIENCE for all!

With the entertainment lined up for 2013 and the usual excellent livestock and hall exhibits, combined with the many equestrian events including OBRA Barrel racing and the Classic Six Horse Hitch and of course the 3 great full course meals cooked up and served by the PAS Homecraft Committee, the 155^th Paris Fair promises to be a MUST attend event for all this summer!
