The Ultimate Food Truck event rolls into scenic wine country May long weekend

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ONT. – Kick off your summer as the ultimate backyard bash rolls into Peller Estates Winery this May long weekend. This year the exciting three-day event will begin with an exclusive adult-only night market Friday night.

Twenty gourmet food trucks with their diverse savoury flavours will be gathering together at Peller Estates for their third annual Food Truck Eats. With the event spread between three days, crowds will be significantly smaller giving guests more opportunities to enjoy the food, wine and entertainment. 

Along with the vast amount of food trucks, Peller Estates will provide a selection of their top-selling wines at Food Truck Eats. To further enhance the exciting three-day event, DJs and bands will be providing music throughout the course of the weekend.

Adam Hynam-Smith, owner of the award-winning food truck El Gastrónomo Vagabundo said, “I’m proud that the best food truck event in Canada happens in our home region of Niagara. We look forward to this event every year, and there is no better way to kick off the trucking season than with great food, great people, and great wine.  Food Truck Eats at Peller Estates Winery has gotten better each year, and this year is going to be the best yet!” Adam has been with Food Truck Eats since it started and every year guests look forward for the return of his famous food truck.

Tickets to the event will be $15 per person plus taxes and fees. With each ticket, guests will receive one glass of wine along with a souvenir Food Truck Eats event glass.

Wine Club members will have access to their own entrance line at the gate, as well as an exclusive patio with a member-only wine bar. For access to these areas, Wine Club members must show their membership cards.

Peller Estates Winery is located at 290 John St. in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ont. The dates and times of Food Truck Eats will be:

Friday, May 16, 2014 – 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.      

Saturday, May 17, 2014 – 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday, May 18, 2014 – 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, May 17, 2014 will be a day market which involves three band performances, all families are welcome. The night market, with entertainment by DJs, takes place on Friday, May 16, 2014 and Sunday, May 18, 2014, these dates are age 19 plus.

Food Truck eats will run rain or shine. Peller Estates kindly asks guests not to bring their own chairs, alcohol or pets to the event. The parking for Food Truck Eats will be located at The Common, which is across from Peller Estates Winery on John St. East.
