TORONTO – Toronto’s Cosmopolitan, a Skyline Hotel, has taken dining to another level with the addition of Wildfire Steakhouse & Wine Bar,
the second outpost of the popular uptown restaurant.
Wildfire
launched in February 1 and the 80-seat restaurant replaced the previous Eight Wine Bar space and includes two
private dining rooms, booth and table seating and a bar.
“We’re
excited to be bringing the Wildfire dining experience to our downtown
clientele and to a new customer base through the Cosmopolitan Hotel,”
says owner Jody Ness. “We’ve completely renovated the space to
incorporate reclaimed barn wood, exposed brick and glass to give it an
urban chic vibe.”
Ness, a restaurateur and host of CNBC World’s Wine Portfolio,
expects the second location will echo the success of its uptown
counterpart, a seven-time Wine Spectator award recipient and Zagat Rated
restaurant. The restaurant is known for its extensive wine collection,
boasting more than 900 choices.
“The
attention to service and detail that the Wildfire staff provides is a
true complement to the experience our guests receive at the
Cosmopolitan,” says Ragnar Pedersen, general manager. “Our guests can
now enjoy a wider range of dining options during their stay in the city
or order in-room dining from Wildfire should they choose to enjoy their
meal from the comfort of their suite.”
