What's new at the Toronto Zoo, September

Weekly feature
Enjoy meeting people, learning new things, and interacting with visitors as part of our team of
Year-round Volunteers. We are looking for adult Volunteers to help out on weekends or weekdays,  
 2 to 4 shifts per month, year-round.

WEEKEND EVENTS:

Saturday, September 8
Have you ever wanted to ask a paramedic or an Emergency Medical Dispatcher just how they do their job? Take the opportunity to meet the men and women of Toronto EMS who proudly serve the citizens of our great city and take part in our free CPR demonstrations and other informative displays.
Monday, September 10
The Toronto Zoo loves Seniors, so today Seniors 65+ receive free admission and a free Zoomobile ride all day pass.

Rhinos are in desperate need of our help as poaching of this magnificent species is on the rise. Toronto Zoo has two of the five species of rhinos and they need our help! Come out and help the Zoo's conservation efforts and be a rhino ranger for the day

The Toronto Zoo will be providing free admission to teachers plus one guest. A current Ontario College of Teachers card or a Teachers Federation Card is required. To obtain more information, contact schools@torontozoo.ca

Only the Toronto Zoo offers up interaction and fun with the exclusive live exhibit, Sharks at Stingray Bay-A Touching Experience. Situated in our Group Events Tent within Discovery Zone. Sharks at Stingray Bay features Nurse Sharks and Bamboo Sharks as well as Cownose and Southern Stingrays. Visitors will have the opportunity to humanely and safely interact with these incredible creatures and learn all about them with special keeper talks.
Participants Needed: Visitor Experience Study!
Create a shareable muti-medai travel journal of your group's visit to the Toronto Zoo while helping the Zoo with important educational research!
Participant groups will carry out a visit to the Toronto Zoo using the "mobilytrip" app on their personal mobile device to create a real-time, multi-media journal of their experience on site.
Zoo Members will receive one guest pass for free admission and Non-Members will receive half-price admission for them and their group on the day you participate in the study!
