Great Lakes, Great Water!Water -
we share it with a wide range of aquatic creatures, Pacific giant
octopus, American eel, Madagascar fishes, Lake Victoria fishes. Visit
all these fishes and many others on exhibit at Toronto Zoo as we
celebrate all things aquatic.
Thursday August 8 to Saturday August 10
Er Shun, our female giant panda, is turning 6 years old and we want
you to help us celebrate. After visiting her and Da Mao at the Giant
Panda Experience, join us for panda birthday activities at the Africa
Picnic Site. Visitors can participate in panda arts and crafts,
interpretive stations, trivia, photo ops, face painting and more! Anyone
who shares Er Shun's August 10th birthday will receive complimentary
admission* that day.
Sunday August 11
8:30am to 2:00pm
Walk for the Children puts a unique spin on your typical
fundraising walk. Spend the day with your family, perusing one of
Canada's top tourist destinations that includes the highly anticipated
Giant Panda Experience! More than just a day at the Zoo - kids get a
special "explorer passport" and collect stamps along the route, adding
to their sense of adventure. The walk ends at the Savanna site with a
picnic lunch, live children's entertainment, games, free gifts and great
