Jean Paul
Jean Paul's comedy is culled from
his cultural crazy quilt of a childhood - born in Trinidad, raised in Brooklyn
and currently residing in Toronto.
"Savage wit and spontaneous combustion combine into an explosive comedic barrage. This cat is fearless. In terms of any kind of act, he works without a net. He is so freewheeling it's almost psychedelic. He's funked up, has a twinkle in his eyes and is deadly articulate. Feeding off the vibe of a room makes his performances electrifying.”

"I was always into comedy, even as a kid. I found it
fascinating. Some of my friends were into model car kits. I was into Richard
Pryor, George Carlin and Bill Cosby" says Paul.
Alex Wood
Alex Wood is one of Canada’s
youngest and fastest-rising comedy stars. In 2009 Alex performed at the
"Just for Laughs" festival where he was featured in the Montreal
Gazette's "Best of the Fest" article. Also in August of 2012 Alex
won the “Ottawa Yuk Yuk’s Summer Comedy Competition.” Alex’s
fresh-faced demeanour coupled with insightful, edgy observations make for a
unique - and uniquely hilarious - comedy experience. Alex has already shared
the stage with some of the top comedians in Canada
and the U.S.
and is definitely one to watch.
