KITCHENER,
Ont. – The
zombies of Bingemans’ Running Dead will once again be stealing the souls of
countless participants during the park’s third annual haunted run.
Taking
place on Sept. 28th, the interactive
zombie obstacle course is a 3km run through the treacherous land of the undead.
Runners must protect their soul flags from the hundreds of zombies scattered
throughout the run.
“This is an experience that anyone can take part in – from
beginners to experienced runners, we’ve designed the route to be enjoyable for
everyone,” said Mark Bingeman, President of Bingemans. “Challenging terrain and
obstacles make this experience nothing like the typical marathons and fun runs
that most runners are used to trekking through. It’s something completely different and, best of all, its
incredibly fun.”
The runs are scheduled to begin at 8:00AM on Sept. 28 with several
start times planned throughout the day.
Upon completion of the race Runners will enjoy entertainment, a
complimentary BBQ and prizes.
If you don’t think you’re up to the challenge various spectator
areas have been set up so supporters can watch the carnage and cheer on friends
and family.
The zombie run shares the opening weekend of Bingemans annual
Screampark experience, which transforms the outdoors into horror filled
attractions during the month of October. New for this year are Hotel
Kalifornia, The Morgue and Devil’s Rejects.
