Weekly feature National Zoo Keeper Week Sunday, July 15 to Saturday, July 21 Front Entrance Courtyard & Africa Picnic Site National Zoo Keeper Week officially kicks-off Sunday, July 15 with Training and Enrichment Day! Learn first-hand how Zoo Keepers keep our animals healthy and happy. The local Southern Ontario Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers are proud to host a week-long event celebrating National Zoo Keeper Week! The event will offer rare insight to the unique  roles the Zoo Keeper plays within your zoo. Come on out and hear special meet the keeper talks, focusing  on those animals that fascinate the keepers including, Vancouver Island marmots (picture at the top), see the tools of the trade, and meet some of the animals that your Zoo Keepers care for each and every day. This is a week you will not want to miss, with special events everyday!
