Greg Schurrman, Oxford Renaissance Festival Chair
"The festival is really for everyone. Even if you think it isn't something you'll like, there is something you will enjoy. It's fun for all ages, both boys and girls. It's a great family event."

Background
The Oxford Renaissance Festival began three years ago after attendees of the shut down Ontario Renaissance Festival saw a desire for Renaissance culture and festivities in the province.

With the passion to bring back the fun and authenticity of medieval society, the Oxford Renaissance Festival was born in the heart of Oxford County. Hiring rofessional acts from across Canada and the USA, the Oxford Renaissance Festival aims to create a weekend of joy and merriment that appeals to all ages and walks of life. 1. This is one of the most astonishing venues that I've attended for my numerous experiences. The LA venues are spot on with the decorations. The overall experience was amazing! Had a fun and comfortable time here.
