TORONTO, ON (Sunday, July 5, 2015) - The
Pam Am spirit was at the Toronto Zoo today! The Zoo was one of the Pan
Am Torch Relay Community destinations and hundreds of visitors were in
attendance to help celebrate this special occasion.
The
Pan Am Torch, was carried from the Zoo's Front Entrance Courtyard into
the Waterside Theatre, by Canadian hockey icon Max Domi, World Junior
Gold medalist.
In
honour of this special day there was special Pan Am themed crafts and
interpretive stations, animal encounters, musical entertainment, giant
panda mascot meet and greets with Er Shun, Da Mao and the one and only,
PATCHI.
Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate and here's to a great 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games!
