The Fairmont Royal York will be rolling out the red carpet to commemorate the marriage of Miss Catherine Middleton and His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales during the live television broadcast of their highly anticipated wedding at Westminster Abbey. To celebrate the unforgettable affair, The Library Bar and EPIC Lounge will be hosting celebration activities and two early morning British themed dining experiences during the televised broadcast at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011.

The Royal Wedding at Westminster Abbey on April 29th will be a wedding of enormous proportions as the second in succession for the throne marries his long time sweetheart. The Fairmont Royal York celebrates the wedding of Catherine Middleton and Prince William of Wales by placing a red carpet in the Lobby, a mailbox for well wishes that will be sent to the newlywed couple and screens to watch the wedding in both Library Bar and EPIC Lounge. During the celebrations Royal lookalikes are anticipated and welcome at the hotel. All Royal Lookalikes will receive a commemorative gift.

Royal Tea, a time honoured tradition at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York, will be served starting at 5 a.m. on April 29 during the live broadcast of Kate and William’s wedding on TV screens in the Library Bar.
