CN Tower in Toronto plans Remembrance Day program

On November 11, 2012,  the CN Tower Remembrance Day program will honour the memories of those Canadians killed in war and peacekeeping missions as well as veterans and members of the armed forces:
  • CN Tower structure will be lit red representing the colour of the poppy, the traditional symbol of remembrance.
  • Flags on property will be flown at half-staff
  • CN Tower employees will wear poppy pins
  • CN Tower will observe two minutes of silence at 11:00 am preceded by the traditional reading of the poem In Flanders Fields and The Last Post.
Admission Offer
The CN Tower will also offer complimentary admission to the LookOut and Glass Floor Levels on the weekend of November 10 & 11, 2012 to any visiting Canadian Veterans, Legion Hall Members and Members of the Canadian Armed Forces (who will be required to show their membership cards to take advantage of this offer).
