The two-hour performance features Darren Frost from the hit CBC Show Mr. D, accompanied by the savage wit of Jean Paul and one of Canada’s fastest-rising comedy stars Alex Wood.   The fast paced and uplifting show is sure to delight.

Tickets are only $35/person, $60/couple or a table of eight can be reserved for $200.  Tickets are on sale now at the Paris Fair office, call 519-442-2823 or email info@parisfair.com

Bio’s for the three comedians are listed below.

Jean Paul
Jean Paul's comedy is culled from his cultural crazy quilt of a childhood - born in Trinidad, raised in Brooklyn and currently residing in Toronto.

"Savage wit and spontaneous combustion combine into an explosive comedic barrage. This cat is fearless. In terms of any kind of act, he works without a net. He is so freewheeling it's almost psychedelic. He's funked up, has a twinkle in his eyes and is deadly articulate. Feeding off the vibe of a room makes his performances electrifying.”
Daryl Jung,
NOW Magazine, Toronto

"I was always into comedy, even as a kid. I found it fascinating. Some of my friends were into model car kits. I was into Richard Pryor, George Carlin and Bill Cosby" says Paul.

Alex Wood
Alex Wood is one of Canada’s youngest and fastest-rising comedy stars. In 2009 Alex performed at the "Just for Laughs" festival where he was featured in the Montreal Gazette's "Best of the Fest" article.  Also in August of 2012 Alex won the “Ottawa Yuk Yuk’s Summer Comedy Competition.”  Alex’s fresh-faced demeanour coupled with insightful, edgy observations make for a unique - and uniquely hilarious - comedy experience. Alex has already shared the stage with some of the top comedians in Canada and the U.S. and is definitely one to watch.

Darren Frost
Darren’s ability to command the undivided attention of an audience is remarkable. He is one of the country’s most experienced comedians, having done thousands of shows for fundraisers, corporate clients and comedy venues.

Most recently Darren joined the cast of the hit CBC show Mr. D playing the new addition of angry French teacher.  In 2013, his appearance at the Halifax Comedy Festival drew rave reviews “a favourite amongst the sold-out audience”.  In the same year he appeared at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Lost Girl, Strombo and CBC’s Debaters.  For three years he was the host of the popular weekly Sirius XM radio show Anything Goes which has been nominated two years in a row for a Canadian Comedy Award.

Numerous movie/television appearances are among his credits too, including Hairspray with John Travolta, the Ethan Hawke film Assault on Precinct 13, the Drew Barrymore/Jimmy Fallon film Fever Pitch, a role in the Michael Douglas feature Don’t Say A Word, and a principle role in the Kojak series starring Ving Rhames.

Darren lends his voices to many cartoons as well, including: Looped, Camp LakeBottom, Chuck and Friends, BeyBlade,  Bakughan Brawlers, Stoked, Sixteen, NBC Discovery Kids Time Warp Trio, PBS’s Timothy Goes to School, Showtime’s Gahan Wilson’s The Kid, and Fox’s Medabots. He also has been featured in many memorable national commercials currently the Cash For Life Fairy, and old favourites Microsoft’s Hermes Messenger of the Gods, and Listerine’s Action Hero Bottle.
