Windsor, ONThe musical genius of two legendary singer-songwriters and first-rate guitar players join forces for an unforgettable acoustic performance – see Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt together on stage at 9 pm, Friday, April 24, in the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor.

Lovett’s unique brand of music is inspired by a variety of genres influenced by country, Western, folk, swing, jazz, blues and gospel. A multi-Grammy award winning artist for Best Male Country Vocal Performance, Best Country Album and Best Pop Vocal Collaboration, Lovett has recorded 13 albums during his 30 year career including chart topping album It’s Not Big It’s Large. He is best known for his biggest hits: “Cowboy Man”, “Give Back My Heart” and “If I Had a Boat”.

Lovett will be joined by legendary troubadour John Hiatt. The Grammy nominee has been writing and performing for more than 40 years, releasing his most recent album in July 2014 Terms of My Surrender. His bluesy, country, jazzy music is known for his signature satirical storytelling and masterful lyrics, accentuated by Hiatt’s soulful, gritty voice. His songs have been recorded by artists as diverse as Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt and Iggy Pop.

Longtime collaborators, Lovett and Hiatt join each other on stage once again to skillfully play their greatest hits including “Thing Called Love” and reminisce about their musical careers.
