Music, comedy, fashion and more: get it all in Montréal this summer

Festival International Nuits d'Afrique
SHAKE YOUR HIPS
Music is in the air in Montréal and our line-up of acts promises to move and groove you. Sway to the sounds of the Festival international de Jazz de Montréal (June 29 to July 9) or clap to the beat of African rhythms during Nuits d’Afrique (July 12 to 24). Treat your ears and eyes lots of inspiration at Osheaga (July 29 to 31), which headlines emerging music acts and international artists, not to mention a visual arts component. Lose yourself in the electro vibe at Festival ÎleSoniq (August 5 and 6) or air guitar along at Heavy Montréal (August 5 to 7).

BE DAZZLED BY FIREWORKS
Look to the sky, which becomes the stage for the International des Feux Loto-Québec (July 2 to 30), and watch the world’s most prestigious pyrotechnicians blow everyone away with their colour-popping nighttime wizardry!

MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE
WATCH THE TIGHTROPE
There’s lots of fun when the circus comes to town, especially when it includes acts from around the world, like at MONTRÉAL COMPLÈTEMENT CiRQUE (July 7 to 17). Stand in awe as homegrown talents and international tumblers, tightrope walkers and assorted daredevils take your breath away and crack you up.

Just For Laughs
LAUGH OUT LOUD
Be sure to pick up tix to the hilarious Just For Laughs Festival (July 16 to 31), which will have you busting a gut as the world’s funniest men and women take over the city’s stages. And Zoofest (July 7 to 30), the JFL off-fest, features more wacky, edgy and over- the-top acts that push the comedy, theatre and entertainment envelope.

Mode & Design
STRIKE A POSE
Let your sartorial side shine at the Festival Mode & Design (August 15 to 20) as you soak up the cool designs on outdoor catwalks, flutes of champagne and hey—ever tried a stiletto race?
